This install guide will walk you through how to activate "Childlock" on your device.

To get started, tap the "Activate childlock on this device" toggle at the top of the screen. Please first add a child's profile if this option is not available.

Select which child will be using the device and tap "Activate".

We will now run through and complete a once-off device configuration process.

First off tap "Allow" if prompted. Next tap "Download Profile" and follow the onscreen prompts.

Tap "Open Downloads", and then tap the download certificate profile. Name the certificate "Lighthouse" and make sure "VPN and apps" is selected below. Tap "OK" and return to the Lighthouse app.

Tap "I have completed the above steps". Then "Next" to continue.

Lastly, we need to install a Lighthouse VPN profile. Tap "Install VPN Profile" and follow the onscreen prompts. Tap "Ok" when prompted. Once we have confirmation that the VPN has connected successfully we can tap "Finish".

With childlock now enabled, searching for inappropriate content on this device will result in the NSFW* images and websites being blocked. We recommend "Logging Out" of your Lighthouse account before handing your device to your child. *Not Safe For Work.
